Book a Class or Workshop
The Guild offers classes and workshops led by highly experienced tutors. Please book using the links below, which will take you to WeTeachMe. If you require additional information or have suggestions for workshops you would be interested in hosting, or if you are a teacher with ideas, please get in touch with the Guild at learn@spinweavensw.org.
We have scheduled some wonderful workshops and classes for 2025, and we're just getting started! Workshops are very popular and you need to book early. Additionally, please be aware of our cancellation policy and that WeTeachMe also offers insurance against cancellation for a small additional fee.

Room use and etiquette
Welcome to the Guild and its workspace. Please work within the guidelines outlined below.
-
Please turn your mobile phone off or to ‘silent’ during class time. If you must take a call, please step out of the room to do so.
-
No food or drink, except water, will be consumed in the rooms.
-
Please respect the tutor’s need to give equal time to each student.
-
Please be aware of your Work, Health, & Safety obligations by storing bags and equipment safely. This may mean storing some of your bags in the kitchen. If so, please remember to keep your valuables with you. Avoid creating hazards for the tutor and other students.
-
Please respect the intellectual property rights of your tutor and other students. By attending this workshop, you acknowledge our copyright terms and agree to abide by them.
-
Please ask before taking photographs or videos. Images of tutors’ work may not be shared on social media or posted on an internet site without their permission.
-
Guest Wi-Fi may be available depending on the connection on the day. The access information is in the room.
-
The Shop is accessible during break times. Please ask a volunteer for assistance. You may run a tab with the Shop. You must pay your bill before the end of lunch on the final day of your workshop.
-
Lunch – We recommend bringing your lunch, as the shops are a distance away. There are microwaves to heat food and refrigerators to store your food. The Guild provides complimentary tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits for morning and afternoon tea. Please feel free to use the verandas for lunch. If you do, please return all the furniture to its original location and ensure it is left clean and tidy.
-
Your lunch break time is on the sign at the entrance to your workshop room door.
-
Please be mindful of the way you dispose of rubbish. There is a bin for non-recyclable waste in the kitchens. Only put rubbish for recycling in other bins.
-
Please keep the kitchens clean and tidy. Please dispose of your rubbish, wash any Guild crockery or cutlery used, and return it to the cupboards or drawers. Wipe down your table and leave the chairs tidy for the next occupants.
-
After the workshop or meeting, please wipe all surfaces, vacuum, and leave your workspace in the condition you would like it to be if you were about to arrive. All rubbish must be taken away.
-
At the workshop's conclusion, please assist the tutor/convenor in packing materials and furniture.
-
The room is to be left in the configuration shown in the photo. Please assist in rearranging the furniture to this configuration.
Enjoy a wonderful time at the Guild!
