Current Exhibition - Crossing Boundaries - Explore new horizons and push the boundaries of your creativity through your choice of fibre media.

Boundaries can be both physical and metaphorical. They can represent limits, but they can also be the starting point for new adventures. Here are some thought starters to inspire your fibre-focused work:

Cultural Boundaries: How can you blend different cultural elements in your fibre art? Consider exploring traditions, symbols, and stories from various cultures through weaving, spinning, knitting, or other fibre techniques.

Personal Boundaries: Reflect on your personal growth and experiences. How have you pushed your own boundaries? How can this be expressed through your fibre creations?

Technological Boundaries: Experiment with new techniques and materials. How can technology enhance your fibre art? What new tools or fibres can you incorporate into your work?

Environmental Boundaries: Consider the natural world and its boundaries. How can you address ecological issues or celebrate the beauty of nature through sustainable and eco-friendly fibres?

Social Boundaries: Challenge societal norms and conventions. How can your fibre art provoke thought and inspire change?

We encourage you to let your imagination run wild and create pieces that truly embody the spirit of  "Crossing Boundaries." This is an opportunity to showcase your unique perspective and contribute to a diverse and dynamic exhibition.
